Building For Tomorrow
The Annual Meeting of the Institute of Transportation Engineers Midwestern District will be held on June 27-29, 2010, at The Depot Minneapolis Marriott Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Building for Tomorrow is the theme of the 2010 conference. With the economic crisis of 2008/2009 past, and increases in infrastructure funding, especially through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, underway, 2010 promises to be an important year for forming the foundation of the infrastructure of the future. We invite you to join us.

Overview
Planning for the meeting's technical program is well underway. The program will include two days of presentations, panel discussions, and small-group conversation circles covering a broad variety of topics. Current plans call for multiple tracks that will allow you to select the sessions that most interest you. Details will be forthcoming. Check the Program page for the most current information.
In addition to what promises to be an excellent two-day technical program, this years meeting also features two evenings of entertaining social events. Monday night will feature the 2nd Annual MidwesternITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl, a Jeopardy-style test of transportation knowledge showcasing the talents of student chapers from across the district. Tuesday night will be our night to check out the new outdoor Target Field and watch the Minnesota Twins take on the Detroit Tigers.
Finally, this year's meeting will also feature exhibits from a large cross-section of industry groups. Come learn about the latest innovations and products that promise to increase your productivity and improve safety and efficiency across our transportation system as we continue Building For Tomorrow.
